Hello, I'm Amber
I help people heal and find a deeper connection to the natural world through herbal medicine. I lean into the intersections between science and tradition within a practice informed by current research, my personal and ancestral relationship with the plants and the earth, holistic nutrition, knowledge passed down with permission from Indigenous elders, and clinical training in vitalist, European, Chinese, and Ayurvedic herbalism.

My role as your practitioner is one of collaborator, guide, and botanical matchmaker. I guide you toward the medicinal plants and foods that will best support your body constitution and situation, and create customized formulas just for you.
When artfully designed for a particular body, rather than one-size-fits-all, formulas often work faster than a single herb, and can have deeper, broader, and longer lasting effects. The whole plant preparations I recommend are sourced with great care, and may come in the form of tinctures, glycerites, teas, decoctions, oils, salves, and/or capsules, depending on the person and the plants.
Feel confident in knowing that any recommendations you receive are safe, even if you are nursing, pregnant, or taking other medications.

My roots as a dancer, doula, lactation counselor, and family advocate give me a unique understanding of anatomy, physiology, and the health concerns which arise around fertility, pregnancy, pregnancy loss, abortion, birth, and postpartum. I specialize in helping people of all genders balance their hormones naturally, to support vitality at all stages of life.

Through Wild Beyond, I strive to increase broad access to sensitive, holistic, and intuitive health care in whatever ways I can. I am not a physician, and do not diagnose or treat disease. Consultations are available to anyone seeking herbal guidance. Ongoing sliding scale rates are available to all, and I reserve one no cost option each month for those in need, with priority given to BIPOC and LGBTIQA+ community members.

In addition to my private practice, I serve as Clinic Director for the ArborVitae School of Traditional Herbalism, and am available for a variety of collaborations as a writer, consultant, and teacher.
